EVENT | Kirsy Lovett Presents: The Art of Running
Every year I hear about Art Basel down in Miami and I always say “Next year I’ll go, promise!” Well I guess it’s finally next year because I finally booked a flight and got my ass down here. Not only will I be enjoying the festivities for the weekend, I decided to partake in them..
Happy to present to you my first running event!
The running tour will be a 3 mile run course consisting of five art station stops and an ending point reception being held at W* in the Wynnwood Arts District. Each art station stop would include a briefing about the artwork and artist (also a quick water stop). The mixer will have artwork by various Miami artist and music by New York’s own Austin Millz. So grab those running shoes and set that alarm to come running Friday morning at 10am followed by some great artwork and a bit of Hennessy to keep you refreshed and ready to begin your Art Basel weekend.
Bag Check In: 10am-10:30am
PHOTOSHOOT | ERIK UMPHERY
Never got around to posting this amazing shoot I had with Erik a couple months ago during the summer. I miss being this tan *sigh*
Check out more of Erik’s work on his site.
I LOVETT | Tiffany Thompson
It’s not everyday I find a dope female I can relate to, not only mentally but with the same fashion sense. I met Tiffany thru mutual friends and it’s been amazing energy ever since. Love a hard working female that can hold her own in a industry that is mostly made up of guys. And who doesn’t love a girl that can rock a good pair of Flyknits <3

PHOTOSHOOT | Elton Anderson
Showing Elton what this #Runningstyle is all about! Had a blast shooting this in SoHo the other day. I’m definitely most comfortable in running clothes and Flyknits, so this shoot was no work and all play
All clothing from Nike (of course).

SHOP | Nike Engineered Print Tights
With my crazy running schedule I really don’t have time for a social life, let alone the wardrobe for a social life. So I do what I can with what I got, which is obviously, running clothes! ha. I’ve come to love all my running tights especially these Men’s “Nike Running” engineered print tights. Luckily I can pull off wearing some Men’s pieces (in a small) with some of my other Nike pieces like this dope Sphere Drop Back Hoodie which offers premium insulation and coverage with a multi-panel hood and fabric that helps battle sweat while reducing cling. So basically looking great while also being prepared for a run. Of course paired with my new obsessions, my FlyKnit Lunar ones.
SHOP | Nike FlyKnit Lunar 1+
I was lucky enough to try the Nike FlyKnit Lunar 1+ a week before they dropped and I must say I’m very impressed! The Lunarlon is the main difference from the previous FlyKnits (That I also love). I took them out for a spin this past weekend (Snow and all) and I’ve honestly never ran in a lighter shoe, these just might be my new favorite running shoes.
The Nike Flyknit Lunar1+ features an innovative upper, constructed entirely of tightly woven polyester yarn that varies in density: more open in targeted areas that need greater flexibility or ventilation and tighter in areas that demand support.
Hey! I’m not completely lost, follow me on instagram for more instant updates.
SHOP | Nike Men’s Dri-Fit Knit Longsleeve
What’s a better Valentines day gift then the gift of Dri-Fit! haha. Check Steven Beck in his new Dri-Fit Knit long sleeve and FlyKnit Lunar One. I have on a pair of the FlyKnits (Men’s colorway) and a pair of Nike Reflective Tights THAT I’M CURRENTLY OBSESSING OVER! They look super dope at night when the light hits them.
I’ve been obsessed with Foster Huntington for some time now. A friend showed me his instagram about a year ago, and basically I’ve been hooked since. Following him on twitter, instagram and his blog is enough to make you want to drop the boring life you live and travel in a van and take pictures, like really. He shoots with 35mm (my favorite) and some digital, but all the pictures are FLAWLESS. Foster lives the minimalist life with everything he owns in his old VW van he purchased before dropping his design job last August in NY and traveling the west, surfing and camping already putting in 30,000 miles in his van. Jealously isn’t the word, maybe one day…
